Leaderboard Explained: How Ranking Works
February 9, 2026
How the JustWoow leaderboard ranks players by category and time period, and how you can improve your position.
The JustWoow leaderboard shows how you rank against other players. Understanding how it works can help you set goals and track your progress.
The leaderboard ranks players based on their quiz performance. When you complete a quiz with a good score, that performance is recorded. Over time, your position on the leaderboard reflects how well you've done compared to others.
You can filter the leaderboard in two main ways: by category and by time period. Filtering by category lets you see rankings for a specific type of quiz. If you excel in one topic, you might find yourself higher on that category leaderboard than on the overall one. Filtering by time period lets you focus on recent performance. You can view rankings for this week, this month, or all time. The "this week" and "this month" views are great for seeing who's been active and successful lately.
To climb the leaderboard, you need to play regularly and score well. There's no shortcut: the more high-scoring attempts you have, the better your standing. Replaying quizzes to improve your score can help, as can trying new quizzes in categories where you're strong.
Remember that you must be logged in for your plays to count. Guest plays do not appear on the leaderboard and do not earn coins. So make sure you're signed in every time you play if you want to see your name rise.
The leaderboard is a fun way to stay motivated. Whether you're aiming for the top ten or just trying to beat your previous position, it adds a competitive edge to every quiz you play on JustWoow.
